Inspirational Women: Angelica Cheung

Here at Liberty Belle HQ, we’re loving all of the women’s day buzz. In honour of the ultimate day of girl power, our writers are sharing their female inspirations. Starting with Angelica Cheung by Lily James

Without Angelica Cheung the Chinese fashion market would be in a remarkably different state than it is today. Starting her working life at Goldman Sachs, her business background can be credited for aiding Cheung in her role as editor-in-chief of Vogue China. Nine years ago, before Cheung took the role, Vogue for the Chinese was simply a brand for an elite sector of society and accessible to even less. Cheung had to educate the public, and recreate the brand, burgeoning the fashion market and consequently she increased readership to 1.06 million. A truly empowered lady.
