It may have been around the block a few times, but this season the shoe everyone’s talking about is the brogue.

Gone are the days of humble tan shade, the simple lace up, and the quiet sole. This time round, the brogue is re-invented, and it intends to stand out.

Wear the statement shoe with a casual blue jean/white shirt outfit to add a pop of colour and detail. Or dress it up for a night out- our top tip is to team a bright studded brogue with a shirt and short co-ord.

However you choose to wear the trend, the brogue is your new best friend for spring summer. Here are some of the best out there at the minute*:
